I've washed these three times already and they still feel just as soft. The waistband doesn't dig in at all, and the side pockets actually hold my phone without sagging. Best sleep shorts I've owned.
These are the first sleep shorts where the side pockets actually hold my phone without dragging them down. The fabric is breathable enough that I forget I'm wearing anything, and the length sits perfectly just above the knee.
The elastic waistband doesn't dig in at all, which was my main issue with old pajama shorts. The side pockets are handy for my phone when I shuffle to the kitchen for water at 2am.
